Jenna Hunter, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Jenna Hunter is a 1997 Graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her career path took her originally to Galveston, Texas, where she met her husband and Lumberton native Troy Hunter. They married in 2000, which brought Jenna to the Golden Triangle. Jenna and Troy have 2 daughters, Amanda and Ashley,3 dogs, and several cats.
On February 15, 2010, she opened the Main Street Veterinary Clinic. The business started with her and 3 other staff members. Today, the practice has blossomed to 3 full-time veterinarians and 40 support staff members. The practice has been voted Hardin County’s Best Veterinarian every year since opening its doors 12 years ago. Dr. Hunter and her team strive to treat every pet as their own.
Jenna has been involved in the Lumberton community since her arrival in town. She has been a
member of the Chamber of Commerce since 2010 and has been on the board of directors since 2011. She served as the Chamber secretary/ treasurer for a 2 year period. She has most recently been involved in starting up our new annual event, the Cupid Shuffle fun run, which boasted a 50% increase in participation over the last year. Jenna has also been actively involved in supporting various youth programs in Lumberton. She has worked closely with the Lumberton FFA chapter in supporting the students involved through local shows, educational outreach, and technical support.
Dr. Hunter and Main Street Veterinary Clinic have always had an open-door policy at their office, accepting volunteers and kids wanting to learn more about the veterinary profession. Giving back to the kids and the community has been a priority since she started Main Street Veterinary Clinic in Lumberton. She is an active member of our local Southeast Texas Veterinary Medical Association (served as treasurer for 2 years), the Texas Veterinary Association, the American Veterinary Medical Association, The Cornell Feline Medicine Association, the American Association of Feline Practitioners, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
David Duplechin, DVM

I am Dr. David Duplechin (aka Dr. D). I have been a member of the MSVC team since graduating from Texas A&M University in 2010. I am a native of the golden triangle area and a Lamar University graduate (c/o 2004). While not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife, three beautiful children, and two dogs.
Haley Hanson, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Hayley Hanson Ford was born in New Orleans and grew up in Lafayette, Louisiana. Dr. Ford graduated from the Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau, Louisiana, before enrolling in Louisiana State University where she majored in Animal Science and minored in French. Through LSU, she studied abroad in the Ubaye Valley of the French Alps, completing internships on a horse farm and with a local French veterinarian. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2018. Dr. Ford became certified in veterinary acupuncture at the Chi Institute of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine in Reddick, Florida. She has also developed special interests in integrative medicine, physical rehabilitation, and geriatric patient care. On a personal note, Dr. Ford enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening and spending time with family.
Holly Wolfe, DVM
Veterinarian
Born and raised in Fairfield, Ohio. She earned her bachelor’s in animal science and got a masters in public health epidemiology. She received her degree from Ross University and did her clinical year at Texa A&M University. She loves her tortoises, dogs, cats, rabbits and cows. In her spare time, she enjoys jogging, painting and leather work.
Emily Scales, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. Emily Scales grew up in Bridge City, TX and now calls Orangefield, TX her home. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science in 2015, master’s degree in Animal Science in 2017, and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2021. She married her husband, Adam, in 2021 and they now have one son, Harris, who is 16 months old. They are currently expecting their second child in February 2024! Emily & Adam also share 4 dogs, a small herd of goats & chickens. Outside of work, Emily focuses on spending as much time as she can with her family. She enjoys playing with her little boy, spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with her husband and dad, shopping sprees with her mom and sister, and taking the time to read a book every now and then.
Traci McCullough, DVM
Veterinarian
Dr. McCullough (aka: Dr. Mac) was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She graduated with a BS in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University in 2003 (Whoop!). Upon graduating she completed two internships at Fossil Rim Wildlife Center (Glen Rose, TX) and Hawk Creek Wildlife Center (East Aurora, NY). After the internships, she became a veterinary technician at TAMU Small Animal Clinic where she developed a love for veterinary medicine. Dr. Mac attended veterinary school at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2011. Upon graduation Dr. Mac worked in private practice in Pearland, Tx. In 2013, she moved to the Beaumont area where she has continued to work in private practice. She is dedicated to providing the pets of Southeast Texas with quality veterinary care and also ensuring that owners have knowledge/understanding about their pets.
She lives with her husband, Joseph; son, Billy; and daughter, Brooke. Dr Mac has five dogs (Sully, Evie, Koda, Pig and Buster) and four cats (Chonk, Nosey Rosy, Flint, and Charlotte). In her free time, she likes to read a good book, visit with friends/ family, and try to mix the perfect margarita.
Meghan Meche, RVT
Meghan was born and raised in Louisiana. She graduated from Northwestern State University with a degree in Veterinary Nursing. After earning her degree, she worked as an anesthetist at the Louisiana School of Veterinary Medicine for 3 years. After that, her and her family moved to Texas for her husbands career. She’s been at Main Street Vet since November of 2022. She is married to her loving and supportive husband and they have 1 daughter, Emi, their cat Buddy Kitty, horse Diamond and many sheep and chickens on their farm. In her spare time, she enjoys family time, jogging/going to the gym, cooking, reading and being on the lake.
Sheri Ford – Office/Clinic Manager
My name is Sheri Ford, I have been in the veterinary field for 25 years. I have been with MSVC since our first day in February 2010. I have worked in three (3) other practices including emergency medicine in Beaumont, TX and Gloucester, VA. I always wanted to be in the veterinary field since as far back as I can recall. I have been married for 31 years with currently 5 fur children (Max,Haus,Sister,Derby & Squeaker). I enjoy roller skating and have been part of the roller derby community for 13 years now, enjoy fishing, chilling on the lake, relaxing pool time and just being with friends and family.
Sondra Jennings-Orta – Surgery Head Technician/Management Team
My name is Sondra Orta. I was born and raised in New Mexico where my family farms over 1200 acres. This is where my love of all animals began. After high school, I went to New Mexico State University where I received a bachelor degree in Radio & TV production. After working in the field for 5 plus years, I was given an opportunity to work at a vet clinic in San Antonio, TX. It’s been 28 years since that day and I haven’t looked back! This field is truly my heart’s desire. Currently I have been at MSVC for 12 years as head surgery technician and part of the management team. I am married and have 2 dogs – Betty Boo and Selena.
Tasha Fenasci-Leger – Head Treatment Technician/Management Team
My name is Tasha Fenasci Leger. I have been in the veterinary field for 20 years now. I have an overabundant love of all animals. I have worked with large, small and exotics in my 20 years, but my true love is for the dog. I have been with MSVC since 2016 and am blessed to make lifelong friends through this field that remain beyond. I am the Head Treatment technician for our clinic. I oversee the hospitalized patients, assist any and all areas needed, give all the love to the patients as well as being an addition to our management team. In this business you learn something new everyday and I love that aspect. I am married to my loving and supportive wife, Rachel. We have 2 fur children – Krewe and Kane. I grew up riding horses and saving stray dogs. In my downtime, I enjoy being on the water whether it be on a boat, in my pool or just relaxing on shore.
Taylor Martin – Inventory Coordinating Manager
Taylor is the inventory manager which includes ordering & doing small tasks like stocking both buildings, letting her know what items are low on stock, and ensuring we have everything needed to take care of the fur babies. Taylor started volunteering at the clinic when she was a freshman in high school in 2015. She would volunteer during her summer and winter breaks until the clinic offered her a job in kennels when she graduated. Taylor says, “I continued to learn under our brilliant clinic staff and am where I am today because of their guidance, leadership, and teachings.” What Taylor says she enjoys most about being a part of the clinic is the clinic’s willingness to give our all to help every pet to the best of our abilities. She is married to Andrew & has 2 pets: Apollo, a Golden Retriever and Toothless, American shorthair feline. In her spare time, Taylor loves spending time with friends and family, arts and crafts, being outdoors, and watching her husband play video games during their downtimes. Fun fact: she also used to work with horses!
